RNX NERO POWER®
Technology
RNX NERO POWER® treats irrigation water physically — without chemicals, additives or consumables.
The system is installed in-line in an existing irrigation network. Water passes through it on its way to the field. Nothing is added to the water and nothing is removed from it.
Where it sits in your operation
In agricultural use, nutrients are dosed into the irrigation water before it reaches the crop. RNX NERO POWER® is installed after fertigation, so the nutrient-carrying water is what passes through the system.
This means no change to existing agronomic practice. Fertilization schedules, irrigation scheduling and dosing equipment stay as they are. The system is added to the line, not substituted for anything.
What the system is
A sealed, egg-shaped vessel containing a continuous internal flow path. Water enters, follows that path, and exits into the irrigation network.
Installation and operation
The system is installed in-line, downstream of fertigation. It requires no power supply, no dosing equipment and no changes to existing agronomic practice.
- No power supply required — the system operates on the flow of the irrigation water itself
- Low pressure loss — designed for integration into existing irrigation networks without additional pumping
- No chemicals, additives, filters or cartridges — nothing is dosed, refilled or replaced
- No waste stream — what enters the system is what leaves it
- No moving parts — no pumps, motors or wearing components
- Modular sizing — configurations from 0.6 m³/h to over 15 m³/h, scaled to the irrigation capacity served
Because the system is passive and has no moving parts, it is designed for long service life under normal operating conditions. Service intervals are not yet defined by long-term field data.
The internal geometry of the flow path is the functional core of the system and is protected as secret know-how.
How it works
The internal design is protected by trade secret and is not disclosed. The performance, however, is open to examination.
We take the view that a technology should be judged by whether its effects can be reproduced under controlled conditions — not by whether its mechanism sounds convincing in a brochure. The physiological pathways linking irrigation water treatment to crop response are not, at present, fully characterised in the scientific literature. We do not claim to have resolved them.
What we do provide is documented field and greenhouse data, stated together with its limitations, and a proposed validation design, to be defined with the partner who runs the study. See Partner with us.
Frequently asked questions
Where is RNX NERO POWER® installed?
In-line in an existing irrigation network, downstream of fertigation, so the nutrient-carrying water is what passes through the system. Fertilization schedules, irrigation scheduling and dosing equipment stay as they are.
Does it need power, chemicals or consumables?
No. It requires no power supply and uses no chemicals, additives, filters or cartridges. Nothing is dosed, refilled or replaced, and there is no waste stream.
Does it add anything to the water?
Nothing is added to the water and nothing is removed from it.
Does it have moving parts?
No. There are no pumps, motors or wearing components.
Which flow rates are available?
Configurations range from 0.6 m³/h to over 15 m³/h. Each unit is built to the flow rate of the installation.
How often does it need servicing?
Service intervals are not yet defined by long-term field data. The system is designed for long service life under normal operating conditions.
Is it available from stock?
No. There is no standard stock item. Each order is manufactured individually, and lead time is confirmed at quotation.
Independent validation
Our current priority is structured, independent validation of the observed effects: replicated randomized trials across multiple sites and crops, with monitored irrigation volumes and agronomic parameters beyond final yield.
We work with universities, research centres and institutional partners on this. Executive summary available on request; technical detail under NDA.
